By accessing or using the AgentShield API and related services ("Service") provided by Eigenart Filmproduktion ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AgentShield is a security API that provides prompt injection detection and defense for AI agents. The Service includes API access, documentation, and related tools. We offer free and paid subscription tiers with varying usage limits.

To use the Service, you must register for an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor, Paddle. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.

6. API Usage and Rate Limits

Each subscription tier includes specific rate limits. Exceeding these limits may result in throttled requests or temporary suspension. We reserve the right to modify rate limits with reasonable notice.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or damages resulting from service interruptions, maintenance windows, or force majeure events.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its algorithms, models, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Eigenart Filmproduktion. The open-source components are licensed under the MIT License as specified in the respective repositories. Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property.

9. Data Processing

We process text inputs submitted via the API solely for the purpose of classification and security analysis. We do not store input content beyond the duration needed for processing, except for aggregated, anonymized usage metrics. See our Privacy Policy for details.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eigenart Filmproduktion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will detect all prompt injection attacks or security threats.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 8, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Munich, Germany.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
